What is Data Director?

Data Director is a web-based data and assessment management system. It helps educators to assess and make sense of data to use to increase student achievement. It uses a wide range of data from many sources that includes: assessments such as state tests, demographic information and grades, district or system administered tests, and daily classroom assessments given by teachers. The information gathered can assist with decision making on the district, system, school, and classroom level. It can generate reports to show patterns and needs, enrichment programs and interventions, and areas for further professional development.

Educational Example

Teachers can use the data director by entering information from classroom assessments into the system by hand, scanned, uploaded, or taken from an online assessment to analyze and create a data summary. The information can be used by the teacher to create a student response matrix, test and respondent statistics, frequency distribution, and item statistics and analysis.
