My Understanding of the Topic:
The computer based Laboratory system is a device that resembles a calculator that can replicate a wide variety of sensors, such as a Motion Detector, Dual-Range Force Sensor, pH system, Calorimeter, and a Barometer. This would be an effective tool for use in a Secondary Education Science classroom, as this device can collect complex scientific data. I have had the opportunity to use one of these tools, although it occurred in a Middle School classroom setting. We used this device to collect atmospheric data over the course of a week and then map and give results for our findings.
